Haji Muhammad Iqbal Baloch,
born in Pasni, a small village near the coastal
of district Gwadar of Mekran, in the year 1914,
had his initial education from high schoolPasni.
Since his school days, he had a passion for sports
and participated in football, cricket, swimming
and hunting.
After
the death of his father Khuda Durra a notable person
and chief of his tribes Haji

Muhammad
Iqbal Baloch continues to help the local people but
a mass earthquake in the year 1943 all the village of
Pasni and other area effected a lot.
At that time he decided to shift his family to Karachi
in this incidence he lost his two sons. While his
stay in Karachi, Haji Muhammad Iqbal set institutions
like Iqbal Commercial Corporation, Iqbal industries,
and Ali Muhammad Akbar Co. After that, he contributed
immensely towards fields like aviation as well in
the name and style National Express Limited.
With regards to his tremendous contributions, he
traveled to a lot of places like Lebanon, Syria,
Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Muscat, Bangkok,
Ceylon, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and
various other countries.
He
had a major inclination towards the education sector
and therefore established many private educational
institutions and academics education .He also worked
a lot for the prosperity and of special and disabled
children.

During his
stay in Karachi, besides all the prosperity work, he also took
interest in politics and thus,he was awarded the title of “CITY
FATHER “ by the Karachi Municipal Corporation 1957-58 the
“CERTIFICATE OF HONOR “ (Sanad-E-Imtiaz) by the citizens
of Karachi in 1996 and Tamgha – e - Khidmat by the Government
of Pakistan through President Field Marshal Muhammad Ayub Khan.
Late
Haji Muhammad Iqbal baloch had dreamt of prosperity for Baluchistan
.in particular, he dreamt of prosperity for life by the coastal
areas of Mekran and the fruit of all the hard word can be witnessed
now.
He
was a patriot and at the same time, a very friendly person as
far as merging different nationalities was concerned.

He
bridged the gap between the ‘Balochi’ and others
to build a Pakistani concept and proved that they are just
as human he spent all of his life working wholeheartedly for
the betterment of all and it is Gods blessing that all of
his children followed his footpath.
They
have not only been an active participant of politics but have
also established a business empire keeping in mind that they
have not only to expand the horizons of social work, rather
to conceive and implement certain projects that would lead
to more job opportunities and thus would improvise the standard
of life. This
foundation is currently working in the coastal areas of Mekran,
thus providing basic health and educational facilities.
HMIBF provided school furniture to those schools where the
children were seen sitting on the floor covered with sand
and dust.
These
children had never known that they would ever witness furniture
in their school and would actually be studying like every
other child of every other city or country. This concept
is not limited to schools but HMIBF also worked on projects
to provide education to special and disabled children .it
is a deplorable fact that these children don’t get
the basics health or educational facilities yet they don’t
complain.
HMIBF
knowing these conditions works day in and day out to some
how carter to these needs This
foundation does not work on charity yes we do help all charitable
work. our mission is to give them money from what we earn
and not to gain charity from others. This work would continue
so on and so forth, thus the dream shall always be alive.
